The Futura flexible transfer machining center represents the evolution of the head of family Billo machining center. It actually joins the advantages of a transfer machine with those of a machining center resulting in an optimal mix of productivity and flexibility.
Transfer Gozio’s Futura is the confirmation that the transfer machines’ world and the machining centers’ world find nowadays more and more common areas of application in which the choice between one production system and another is every day harder.
FUTURA is a machine that has been imagined, designed and created for producing small to medium batches of complicated parts, which require a number of machining operations. We are talking about a type of machine that aims at flexibility and extremely reduced set-up time and that is moreover able to finish complicated parts in one clamping thanks to a particular technologic solution that has been developed and patented, which allows to machine the workpieces almost on the six surfaces without any need of re-clamping.
All this results in productivity and therefore higher competitiveness.
The machine can be composed of three, four or five stations and correspondingly two, three or four operating units. The clamping chucks are self-centring and orientating and feature 2 axes cn control like on the Billo machining center
The sequential programming is extremely easy and doesn’t require any instruction course.
The Futura transfer machining center turns out to be therefore suitable for the production of medium batches of complicated parts of any shape that have to be machined on more surfaces with inclined or perpendicular axes directions in one single clamping obtaining the maximum precision
