The Billo series is completed by the following two versions of the machine:
BILLO-M2-180 - special cnc machining center with 2 opposite operating units
This special machining center features 2 opposite operating units, each with 3 CN controlled axes, and one 2-axes-controlled chuck positioned between them.
The operating units have the same technical characteristics of the M1-180 model but thanks to the twin unit solution the machine has the advantage of performing simultaneously two operations on parallel opposite axes or of changing the tool on one unit while the other one is working, resulting in shorter machining cycle times.
Both tool changing devices are equipped with circular tool magazine.
BILLO-M1-250 - special cnc machining center with 5 cnc axes
This machining center represents the larger and more powerful version of BILLO M1-180.
It features a 3-axes CNC operating module and a 2-axes-CN controlled chuck as its smaller brother M1-180 but has been especially designed for the machining of larger workpieces and various materials such as stainless steel or aluminium.
The whole machine, chuck included, is therefore very steady and robust, though keeping as well movement speed and versatility of the head of the family Billo M1-180.
The operating unit is mounted on ball recirculation precision slides and can be equipped with standard spindle or with high frequency electro-spindle. The tool changing device is electro-mechanically driven and features a circular tool magazine.
