[numeric control]

Gozio Transfer is particularly proud of the choice made regarding the numeric control, even if it is possible to deliver our machines with numeric controls on customer’s request.

The whole control system and the machine software as well is actually made by the Gozio company. The system is of multi-processor kind and therefore every single unit has its own independent controller, resulting in shorter times of response of the system.

The connection between PC and PLC is made through direct access to the memory, where the PC sees the system BUS of the PLC. We have basically a distributed architecture in which there is a main manager that provides to send data to the PLC that has the duty to perform a certain operation.

Our machine software interface is extremely easy to use and allows also rookie users to program a machine cycle and to learn the step-by-step programming concept in a few hours of training.

The interface is almost the same on every Gozio machine and consists of a series of pages that guide the user through the machining that has to be performed, from a simple boring operation to a complex axis interpolation in order to obtain outlines, threads, recesses and other particular machining operations.

The programming procedure is easy and intuitive, since in every page only the buttons necessary for that part of programming are activated.

The whole architecture of the system has been designed in order to easily connect eventual auxiliary devices to the machine, such as automatic loading/unloading devices.

The tool management is quite particular: once a tool has been identified with a position, the control provides to insert it into the closest free cup during a tool changing operation and to update continuously the memory about the new position assigned to the tool.

Furthermore the CN Control provides to identify the shortest way for picking up the next tool. This feature provides further tool changing time reduction, which is anyhow extremely fast.
